“FRIDO is an individual project, but not a closed one. Our source code is open source and can be modified independently from the development of our team. We want to give something back to the Arduino community and help FRIDO grow through new ideas."
Our Story
FRIDO was born with the idea to build our first own MIDI-Controller based on the Arduino platform. Working with loops on the computer has always fascinated our team – it has always fascinated me myself. In so many ways, the work seems simpler and more varied. However, it was all the more disturbing to find out that one’s own ideas could only be implemented laboriously with one’s hands. Suitable controllers for the feet are rare, but they are interesting for a large number of musicians … namely whenever you actually need your hands to play.
The FRIDO team is located in Berlin, Germany.
